Stinky Stank Records aims to elevate local acts who approach their music with sincerity and purpose, put on an invigorating and inclusive live show, have a sense of humor and love for what they do (a must when you're not selling out stadium-sized venues), and ideally have a band member playing an instrument we have to look up on Wikipedia. We're always looking to expand the Stinky Stank family, and add new venues – conventional and not – to our booking and promotional arsenal. Whether you stink, stank, or some combination of the two, let's get in touch.
Meet The Team
lil stinky
Lil Stinky is a grousing, grumbling, mumbling longtime Portlander dedicated to evading parking tickets and discretely attending shows all over Multnomah County. Despite his crusty exterior and generally off-putting demeanor, L.S.'s undeniable passion for good music, good fun, and good people serves as the driving force behind all of Stinky Stank's efforts as a label and promoter. Lil Stinky wishes to remain anonymous – although if you really want to pick him out of the crowd, just imagine what a guy named "Lil Stinky" might look like and you won't be far off. When asked why he founded Stinky Stank, L.S. told a several-minute long, deeply confusing story about some pigeons he knew. It isn't worth sharing here.

Stephen acts as Lil Stinky's press and logistical liaison, and plays in the Stinky Stank-signed band The Eldest Young
